Saif Textile Mills Limited has commissioned a 10MW solar power project at its manufacturing facility in Gadoon Amazai, Swabi, as part of its energy efficiency and cost optimisation strategy. The company disclosed that the solar installation is now operational at its mill in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in line with regulatory requirements. The project is expected to reduce dependence on grid electricity and provide partial protection against rising energy tariffs, supporting lower production costs and improved operating margins over time.
The initiative forms part of the company’s broader plan to enhance operational performance and strengthen long-term shareholder value through efficiency measures. Saif Textile also said the project aligns with its sustainability objectives, as it contributes to lowering the company’s carbon footprint.
