Work on A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 2 has hit a snag as filming stalls for the Game of Thrones spin-off.

For HBO, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has already done the hard part. The Game of Thrones prequel arrived with far less noise than House of the Dragon, but it still managed to carve out its own space in Westeros by telling a smaller, warmer, and much more character-driven story. Built around Ser Duncan the Tall and young Egg, the series felt like a different kind of fantasy hit, one that leaned less on civil war spectacle and more on charm, chemistry, and the long road ahead. That’s a big reason why anticipation for Season 2 has been so strong ever since HBO renewed the series before its first season had even finished making its mark.
